BUYING
Please note that tarnishes, and spots maybe in the coins, whether they are graded or not. However, all coins are guaranteed and authentic. Many modern silver coins can develop white spots, or “milk spots”. Also, for the currencies / banknotes / paper money, there might be some folds or minor blemishes. It will be noted in item description. However, due to many factors of the coin grading or currency grading, it may not be mentioned.
All graded coins are listed in the third party grading website. Population of graded coins / currency can change anytime. Please base your purchases on the websites of third party graders because we may not update the products for these information.
All grades of raw coins and banknotes (non-third party graded coins or paper money) are subjective. Please check the photographs for ungraded coins and paper money / banknotes, grade by yourself, and contact us if you have any questions, before buying or bidding.
Serial Number Varies from Stock Photo, pictures are for illustration only. The graded coin, banknote or currency you will receive may have a different Serial Number from the stock photo shown. Your purchase is guaranteed to match the quality or grade of the product shown. It may not be this exact item.
If you purchase multiple items, shipping will be combined at checkout. Please use the “Add to Cart” button when buying multiple items and ask any questions before shipping.
PAYMENT
Paypal is the preferred payment method. Please select accordingly during checkout.
SHIPPING
Due to PayPal’s terms, we WILL ONLY ship to the address that is provided by PayPal in your payment. Please do not email us asking to have your items shipped to a different location or address. For international shipments outside Canada, please make sure you have a phone contact number in your Paypal account.
Shipping is only to the following countries: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea and Switzerland.
Shipping is now available for New Markets for 2020: Germany, France, Italy, Belgium
TAXES
All custom or import duties/taxes or any other obligations for international sales, if applicable, are the buyer’s responsibility. No taxes will be charged for items delivered outside of Canada at checkout.
Taxes will be applied for all Canadian residents for applicable items outlined below:
13% HST is applied for all residents from ON
15% HST is applied for all residents from NB, NFLD, NS & PEI
5% GST is applied for all residents from AB, BC, MB, NWT, Nunavut, QC, SK, YK
9.975% QST is applied for all residents from QC
6% PST is applied for all residents from SK
7% PST is applied for all residents from BC
8% PST is applied for all residents from MB
Canadian Sales Taxes will apply and will be collected at checkout. All 99.9% or better Pure Silver/Gold/Platinum coins are Tariff (Canada) exempt and GST/HST exempt.
RETURNS
Satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return the items. Returns are accepted within 7 days after you receive the item. Refunds will be issued within 7 days after the returned items are received by us. Shipping, Handling and Return postage will not be refunded.
Buyer pays for any taxes, return postage or shipping costs. Returns must be in their original condition, not damaged and tampered in any way, and must be properly packaged. All returned package will be opened with a video recording and/or with a 2 person check.
CoinAsHobby will not accept partial returns nor will we issue partial refunds. For example, if you receive a Proof Set where one coin is in unacceptable condition, you must return the entire Proof Set, not just the one coin, to receive a refund.
CoinsAsHobby reserves the right to limit or refuse a return or to charge a fee for excessive returns. In addition, we reserve the right to suspend accounts of customers with a pattern of excessive returns.
For items or products indicated with NO RETURNS in their description, these items or products are buy-as-is and cannot be returned.
To return your product, you should contact us by email or by contact form and provide us with the tracking number of the package. All returns must be shipped with tracking and signature. We are not responsible for any loss or damage of product returns during shipping. It is strongly advised that you buy shipping insurance to protect yourself from loss or damage.
WARRANTIES, OTHER MATTERS
All items that are manufactured from the following countries are not sold currently due to sanctions: Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Libya, Cuba, and Sudan. We sell only items that are not manufactured from these countries.
There are no warranties. All Legal Matters , if not settled amicably by the buyer and the seller, will be settled through The Court of Ontario in the Province of Ontario, Canada. The Privacy Policy, the Terns and Conditions, product prices, product description, and product availability are subject to change without prior notice.
